Richard MOU

Richard Damania, the World Bank’s Chief Economist for Sustainable Development, signed an MOU in Paris on November 22, 2023, for the continuation of the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), a global network established between five key inter-governmental organizations to inform and support the policy, business and finance communities with knowledge, guidance, data, and tools in the transition to an inclusive green economy.

Representatives from the five organizations that are members of the GGKP Steering Committee: Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the World Bank, formed a panel at the GGSD Forum 2023 to discuss how socioeconomic and geopolitical changes affect the prospects for international cooperation on green growth through their joint initiative, the GGKP.
